The Association of Positive Youth Living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (APYIN) was founded to provide care and support to young people infected with HIV; empower them with adequate knowledge on sexual reproductive health and rights issues and prevent further spread of HIV among young and general population in Nigeria.The empowerment takes into cognized the social, economic, religions, and political challenges associated with sexuality and reproduction issues, especially as it relates to young people.
